#8 Regina Rams (4-1) vs #2 Saskatchewan Huskies (5-0)

When: Saturday, October 15 at 1 PM CDT

Where to watch: Canada West TV (Paid)

Just three weeks ago the No. 8 Regina Rams sat on the verge of handing the No. 2 Saskatchewan Huskies their first loss of the season as they led by two with just six seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.

Huskies kicker David Solie saved the day from 38 yards out.

Hindsight has revealed that no other Canada West team has pushed the Saskatchewan Huskies to the limit as the Regina Rams have.

Finally, the rematch we’ve all been waiting for.

#4 Laval Rouge et Or (5-1) vs #3 Montréal Carabins (5-0)

When: Sunday, October 16 at 1 PM EDT

Where to watch: TVA Sports (Paid)

Back in September, the Laval Rouge et Or and the Montréal Carabins added another instant classic to their long list of instant classics that span back nearly two decades.

Despite the Carabins catching the win off of a game-winning field goal, the matchup would suggest that the competitive gap between these two programs is non-existent - unlike last season.

Finally, the other rematch we’ve all been waiting for.

#5 Queen’s Gaels (5-1) vs McMaster Marauders (2-4)

When: Saturday, October 15 at 3 PM EDT

Where to watch: OUA TV

Last week, the McMaster Marauders recorded their second 40+ point win of the season, proving once again that they are capable of blowing out an opponent.

Unfortunately for the Marauders, their push for the playoffs has them travelling to Kingston this weekend for Queen’s HOCO, where they’ll take on one of the best teams in the nation.

The Gaels are riding a hot streak of their own, having put up 172 points over their last three games - the most of any team in the nation over the span. The key question for the Gaels entering this week will be the status of quarterback James Keenan.

Keenan notably sat out during Queen’s 61-2 win over York as he nurses a supposed lower-body injury.

Will Keenan make his return this week coming off the bye?

If not, what more will we learn about backup quarterback Alex Vreekan?

Vreekan, who started against York, threw for 223 yards and three touchdowns, while also grabbing 32 yards on the ground.

After showing they possess elite depth at receiver, and running back, should Keenan not dress this weekend, we’ll get a chance to learn if the Gaels also have elite depth at quarterback
